Christmas in Historic Odessa

Hello friends! In 2019, I went to the city of Odessa to explore their historic district and to see the beautiful Christmas decorations around that time.
About Historic Odessa
Odessa is a town in the MOT area (MOT stands for Middletown, Odessa, and Townsend). Odessa lies pretty close to the edge between the end of New Castle County in the top third of Delaware and Kent County in the middle third of the state. It was originally called Cantwell Bridge, but changed their name as a homage to the Ukrainian port city in the 19th century.

The Corbit Sharp House (then called the Collins-Sharp House) is a house that was converted into a museum. Built around 1722, the Corbit-Sharp house is one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in the Mid-Atlantic.

Some Christmas goodies (chestnuts, pears, apples, pine needles, pinecones, and holly branches).

One of the bedrooms in one of the historical houses. The sheets are draped on the furniture to protect it from dust.

Historic Odessa is definitely a great spot. You can see the Appoquinimink River off to the distance from Odessa, as it’s fairly close by.
Have you ever been to Odessa, Delaware before?
