Hello fellow travelers! Dallas is such a beautiful city. It is the 2nd largest city in Texas just behind Houston, and has a lot of history. Here are five things to do around the beautiful city!

Dallas World Aquarium

The Dallas World Aquarium is more of a zoo than an aquarium. It has many animals like toucans, sharks, and flamingos. Althiugh admission is not cheap, it is worth the experience.

Grandscape

Grandscape is an outdoor shopping mall and entertainment complex located in a suburb of Dallas called The Colony. It has so many amazing stores and entertainment venues, such as Andretti, which is an arcade-type venue.

Fort Worth

Fort Worth is the seat of Tarrant County, and a smaller city located within the DFW Metropolis. I loved exploring here. I got to see a lot of history and much more. Fort Worth’s nickname is Cowtown because it was an important stop in the cattle trading industry in the South.

Denton

Denton is a small city located within the DFW metropolis. Despite its small size, it is quite a charming town. There are a few things to do around Denton, such as the Courthouse, Beth Marie’s Ice Cream, and much more! I quite recommend the lavender ice cream from Beth Marie’s, and there is also a nice Thai restaurant called Andaman there as well.

Frisco

Frisco is yet another smaller city located inside the DFW metropolis and has a few cool things. For example, the Ford Center, where the Dallas Cowboys training camp is, is located in Frisco. The National Video Game Museum is also located in Frisco. Every Christmas, they decorate the main square with tons of Christmas trees, and decorations, and even hold some fun events.

Have you ever been in these smaller cities located in the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolis?
